Do I need an appointment?
Poppi offers a fully personalized, boutique experience. Appointments are required for both individual and group visits so you can enjoy dedicated time, attention, and comfort.
Is piercing done with a needle or a piercing gun?
At Poppi, piercings are done with a sterile, single-use needle (recommended).
There is also the option of a non–spring-loaded device (for earlobes only).
Both methods are safe, gentle, and precise — never a traditional piercing gun. We prioritize comfort, hygiene, and the perfect placement every time.
How old do I have to be for a piercing?
You must be 18 or older to get pierced on your own.
If you’re under 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present and provide consent.
We pierce cartilage starting at age 12, so you can start building your dream ear stack safely and stylishly!
Do you pierce babies?
Yes — we pierce babies over 2 months old who have received their DTaP vaccine.
We take our time to make the experience gentle, safe, and loving for both baby and parent, using only sterile, high-quality jewelry and calm energy.
Are the earrings hypoallergenic?
Absolutely! All Poppi jewelry is hypoallergenic implant-grade titanium, 14k solid gold, 24k gold PVD titanium or surgical grade stainless steel.
All earrings are professionally sterilized.
That means safe, beautiful jewelry that even sensitive skin can shine in.
How do I care for my new piercing?
Check out our Aftercare page.
Clean with advanced aftercare or sterile saline 2–4 times a day, avoid touching and skip alcohol or peroxide.
Do not side sleep or put pressure on your new piercing for the first few weeks.
Let your body do the healing, and we’ll help with check-ins and post changes when you’re ready.
Does it hurt?
It’s quick — a little pinch and it’s done! Most clients say, “That’s it?” afterward.
We keep the vibe calm, clean, and positive, so you can actually enjoy the process.
Can I get multiple piercings in one visit?
Yes! You can absolutely add a few sparkles in one session. We’ll help design a layout that fits your ear shape, your energy, and your aesthetic.
Can I bring my own jewelry?
For safety reasons, we only pierce with Poppi-approved jewelry. Each piece is medical-grade, sterilized, and designed for safe healing.
Once your piercing is fully healed, you can absolutely switch it up with any jewelry you like!
How long does it take for piercings to heal?
Healing time varies:
Lobes: 3-6 weeks with advanced aftercare solution or 6-12 weeks with normal saline.
Cartilage: 2-3 months with advanced aftercare spray or 4 months to 6 months with normal saline.
Everyone heals at their own pace — we’re here with guidance every step of the way.
What is Permanent Jewelry?
Permanent Jewelry is a custom-fit chain welded directly onto you — no clasp, no fuss, just sparkle that stays.
It’s a beautiful way to celebrate connection, intention, or a special moment. Choose from 14k gold or sterling silver chains, and we’ll custom-fit it to your wrist, ankle, finger, toe, neck or waist!
What if my jewelry comes off, can it be re-welded?
Yes! While permanent jewelry is designed to stay on through life’s moments, it’s not invincible—snags happen.
If your chain breaks at the weld, we’ll reweld it for free.
If the break happens due to tugging, snagging, or stretching, there’s a small charge to refit or reweld the piece.
Just schedule a quick appointment and bring in your bracelet.
What if I need to take off my welded jewelry?
No stress! You can clip your chain at the weld jump ring (small scissors work great). Just save the piece and bring it back when you’re ready for a reweld or to add a clasp.
What if I can't wear welded jewelry due to sports, work, or personal preference?
If welding isn’t an option—whether for sports, profession, age, or just a “not ready to commit” moment—we’ll simply add a clasp so you can still rock your chain.
Can I host a permanent jewelry or piercing party?
